Presented at Milan Design Week 2023, Palomba Serafini Studio, in collaboration with Donatella
Versace, creates the new collection of furnishings and accessories for Versace Home together with Luxury Living Group and on display both at the Milan Fair stand and in the Via Durini showroom.
The Zensational modular sofa, one of the most important pieces in the new collection, the name originates from its relaxed mood and is inspired by the pillars of Versace, with links to classicism and mythology. The modules are designed as pure geometries that wink ironicly to the past. A tangram of shapes, patterns, and materials that become protagonists together with the decorative panels of the Fashion House and are declined in unexpected combinations. The crocodile printed leather recalls the Versace Autumn-Winter 2023 collection and it is combined with the Baroque prints and jacquards.
The Discovery sofa reproduces a contemporary herringbone processing with visual references to the V of Versace, available with fabric or leather covering. The cushioning has a double function as a backrest and comfortable cushion, while the couch version can be transformed into a modern chaiselongue.
The Discovery table stands out for its sinuous leather-covered leg, decorated with a golden ring at the base and embellished with a golden Medusa. It is available in various colors, from glossy white to matt red, and with wooden finishes, lacquered wood, or marble.
The Discovery chair was born under the influence of the Stiletto collection and becomes even more essential in shape and more solid at the extremities. A comfortable backrest dialogues with a padded seat, but with a minimal shape.
Alongside the 2023 novelties, Versace Home presents the family extensions of some of the bestselling furnishings, including the La Greca line, protagonist of an extensive area of the fair stand and in the store on Via Durini. Among the novelties, a wide armchair with a deep seat and swivel base.
Stiletto is completed with a new leather-covered table top, a tapered stool, and a bergère armchair paired with a comfortable footrest. The contemporary and soaring lines of the armchair enhance its dynamic shape: the high backrest, shaped like a mermaid’s tail, gets thinner in the feet, evoking the iconic Versace stiletto heel. Among the other objects on stage, The Medusa bed, the Signature and the Goddess collections are now available with fabric upholstery in addition to the leather version.
Among the lamps, we find the new LED Goddess, which embraces a contemporary use of domestic space, and the Versace Galaxy chandelier, with its cascade of transparent, opalescent, and golden spheres, embellished with the Versace logo.
